flyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines is making preparations for conquering Lithuanian and Baltic markets

 

 

Airline flyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines set the target for 2008 to gain the leader’s position in the Lithuanian aviation market and is planning to achieve the fastest growth among airlines in the Baltic States. The company is planning to grow by two times this year. Future investment of nearly half billion Litas into its growth was announced.

Announcement about the company’s development and ambitious business plans was made on Tuesday by Director General of airline flyLAL Tadas Pukšta and Deputy Director of Development Department Liutauras Tarabrinas. More

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

flyLAL Group is reorganised into two companies

 

 

Making preparations for initial public offering (IPO), aviation business group flyLAL Group, having founded and controlling 7 companies, reorganises its Group into two separate companies – flyLAL Group AB and AVIA Investment AB, which should be renamed flyLAL Group Services AB in the nearest future. flyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines launches the sale of air tickets to more than 70 destinations in the world on the Internet portal www.flylal.com. The Lithuanian airline portal already offers e-tickets to New York, Peking, Sydney, Bangkok, Mexico and other destinations in the world at a special price. More

The customers of flyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines will be able to track the shipments online

 

Expanding the possibilities for the passengers to travel by regular and charter flights, the carrier flyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines is improving the cargo services as well. The cargo operation system eCHAMP, which started operating in January this year, will bring the benefit both to the airline and to the customers. The new system helps both organizing and controlling the cargo processes, as well as enables the customers to track the status of the shipment. More
